* auto_cylinders = '3 cylinders', '4 cylinders', '5 cylinders', '6 cylinders', '8 cylinders', '10 cylinders', '12 cylinders', 'other' * condition = 'new', 'like new', 'excellent', 'good', 'fair', 'salvage' So a lot of times people will buy used, or keep maintaining older cars, because why spend $30k when you can buy a reliable used one for 10% of the price? If you factor in depreciation, a used car has a far lower yearly cost of ownership, and buying new is usually only if one values new things, or runs into reliability/repair issues. Used cars are still valuable because gas is cheap here, so older lower fuel economy models don't add too much to the cost of ownership, there are lower safety/smog standards in a lot of provinces and states (only inspected when you buy/sell a used vehicle, not every year like the UK), and car parts are cheap so maintaining the vehicle is not as expensive (especially if you do the work yourself). New cars are cheap because there's no luxury tax (only sales tax), free trade/no taxes or duty, cheap shipping by boat to Japan (or made here), so the price of a new is car quite close to the cost of manufacturing it, and not driven up higher like in other countries.

To enable ssh you will need to create a blank file called ‘ssh’ on the SD Card before installing it into you Raspberry Pi. If you need help please follow the installation instructions here.) (This is outside the scope of the how-to.

If the client is not playing any media the script shows random movie posters from the Plex Server. This script scraps and displays the poster, current progress, and description of the currently playing movie or TV show on a screen. So, unsatisfied with the solutions I found online, I decided to build my own. There was just one problem… I wanted to run this project on a Raspberry Pi 3 running Linux. I searched the internet and found similar projects, which were all windows programs. I always thought it would be cool to have a display outside my media room that would show the poster of the movie or TV show that was currently playing. Plex Movie Poster Display is a side project I started a few years ago. Your config file will be overwritten, so remember to save your Plex Token etc. If you are having issues please try the dev branch. There is current a dev branch on GitHub with bug fixes and new features. Instructions updated for Raspbian Buster with desktop. Please provide feedback, suggestions, or issues.
